Priscilla

Priscilla lived with her aunt because she did not know the whereabouts of her parents. Her aunt struggled with alcohol and, according to the family’s account, placed Priscilla in unsafe situations by sending her to adult men in exchange for money or alcohol. When Priscilla resisted, she was verbally abused because she did not have her parents with her. She eventually considered going to the streets for help. During counseling and community visits, Anikana Foundation learned how vulnerable her situation had become and stepped in to care for her.
