Mulungi’s Story
Mulungi grew up amid poverty and gender-based violence at home. According to the family’s account, his father struggled with alcohol, was violent toward the family, and later died while returning home. The conflict between his parents left Mulungi bearing the consequences of an unstable and unsafe home environment. Anikana Foundation stepped in to provide care and support.
