Kirabo’s Story
Kirabo was left vulnerable because of gender-based violence and poverty within her family. Her parents were unable or unwilling to provide the care she needed, leaving her without consistent support. Because she was a young girl in a dangerous situation, there was serious concern for her safety and future. Anikana Foundation stepped in to provide care, protection, and stability.
