Joel’s Story
Joel became an orphan after the death of his parents during the COVID period and was living with his older brother. His brother did not have stable employment, and everyday life became extremely difficult. Joel was unable to attend school consistently, and even finding enough food was a struggle. He was at risk of joining children living on the streets when Anikana Foundation stepped in to support him and help provide a safer path forward.
