Atuhaire’s Story
Atuhaire lived with a friend of her mother. Her mother had worked as a casual laborer in town but one day left and did not return. The woman caring for Atuhaire did not know where her father was and was left uncertain about how to provide for her. With no parent present and only the help of well-wishers, Atuhaire was in a very vulnerable situation. Anikana Foundation stepped in and began caring for her.
