Abuwaheed

Abuwaheed grew up without knowing his parents and lived with people to whom he had no close family connection. He experienced serious emotional, physical, and psychological mistreatment and, at a young age, began to feel that he had nowhere he truly belonged. Eventually, he left and did not want to return to the people he had been living with. Through counseling, comfort, consistent care, and love, Abuwaheed has found a sense of belonging at Anikana and now regards Mama Anikana as his mother.
